The Real David James

So I thought I'd tell yall a little about David, things pictures can't say. David's vocabulary is immense. Some days it is shocking the words he knows. Here are some of his words: helicopter, caterpillar, rocket, golf club, swish (for basketball of course), water fountain, gazebo, wood pecker, tickle the armpit!, rocking chair, all his colors including peach, salami, sausage, cocoon, pajamas, tyrannosaurus rex, alligator, elevator, Iraq, ......About two weeks ago, I switched David from whole milk to 1%. I figured he'd have no idea but I gave him his morning cup of milk, he took one sip and said, "Mmm, this milk is delicious!" Just like that! He's also completely obsessed with instruments. He loves to imitate the trumpet, flute, drums, violin, piano, harp, and guitar. He knows the difference, makes the right sounds, knows the names, its amazing. I know I have said he knows all his letters, saying them and recognizing them both upper and lower case, but now he is starting to learn the sign language for the letters. He likes to walk around outside and pick up sticks that look like letters, like Y sticks and L sticks and J sticks. I think about writing this post all the time when he does something cool but as I sit to write it I am forgetting things. So I'm sure tomorrow or soon there will be an addendum.
